SEC to Host Roundtable on Machine-Understandable Data

Yesterday, the SEC announced that it plans to host a roundtable on the use of machine-understandable data and Super Intelligence (SI) on November 9 from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm ET at the SEC’s headquarters (registration required to attend) and streamed live on SEC.gov. The roundtable will include two panel discussions exploring “how market participants use SI and machine‑understandable data, the associated risks and costs, and ways the SEC can further support and enhance the use of these technologies.” According to the agenda, the panels will tackle these questions:

How Does the Market Use Super Intelligence (SI) and Machine-Understandable Data?

What risks and costs related to SI and machine-understandable data should the SEC consider?

How could the SEC better facilitate SI and machine-understandable data?
