About Julie Gonzales

Julie Gonzales is the Associate Editor for TheCorporateCounsel.net, CompensationStandards.com, DealLawyers.com and other CCRcorp resources. Prior to joining CCRcorp, Julie spent 16 years at a publicly traded company in the oil & gas services space, most recently as the Stock Plan Administrator, Corporate & Securities Paralegal and Assistant Corporate Secretary.

Julie's career has included experience working closely with in-house and outside counsel on a variety of issues - including employment, litigation, securities and corporate governance matters. She has insight into the value of a good document retention policy, via her prior role as Senior Contracts Administrator. As her company's Stock Plan Administrator, Corporate & Securities Paralegal and Assistant Corporate Secretary, she was responsible for the company equity program, many SEC filings and corporate governance matters, and worked closely with the Board of Directors, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. In her spare time, Julie enjoys watching baseball, football, motorsports, and being outdoors. She also challenges herself to learn something new every day.
