Note: This webcast was pre-recorded on January 7, 2021. On January 11, 2021, the MD&A amendments were published in the Federal Register. They will be effective February 10, 2021 - and early compliance is permitted for filings made after that date.

When the SEC amended the MD&A and financial disclosure rules in late November, it established a long lead-time for mandatory compliance. However, early compliance is permitted - and a number of companies are considering whether to take advantage of the new rules and streamline their disclosure for this year's Form 10-K. Join these experts for a discussion of the amendments - and the benefits & drawbacks of voluntary early compliance.

  • Bryan Brown, Partner, Jones Day
  • Lyuba Goltser, Partner, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP
  • Dave Lynn, Partner, Morrison & Foerster LLP and Senior Editor, TheCorporateCounsel.net
