The SEC's recent amendments to modernize Regulation S-K include a number of potentially significant changes that will affect your next Form 10-K - including a new principles-based approach to the previously prescriptive disclosure requirements of Item 101, the addition of a human capital disclosure requirement, changes to the disclosure thresholds contained in Item 103, and the addition of a no more than two-page summary of key risk factors that will be required under Item 105 if the risk factors section is more than 15 pages in length.
