FAQs: "Pay Ratio Workshop: What You Need to Do Now"

  1. Is there a member discount if I am a member of TheCorporateCounsel.net or CompensationStandards.com?
  2. There's no need for it. The pricing structure is the same for everyone - regardless if you're a member or not.

  3. How much does the Workshop cost?
  4. The rates are: $395 for a single user; $795 for a single office location (everyone at that location can attend) and $1495 for a firmwide (everyone at your firm/company can attend).

If you need any assistance, please contact us at info@thecorporatecounsel.net or 925.685.5111 (note this is a West Coast phone number, operative between 8 am - 4 pm West Coast time).

  5. What is your cancellation policy?
  6. All registrations are non-refundable.

  7. Can I earn continuing education credit for attending the Conference?
  8. Unfortunately, no CLE credits are available for attending the Workshop. It's too hard to get approval from the state bars since the Workshop is being held so soon after the SEC adopts the final pay ratio rules.

  9. What type of course materials will there be?
  10. The course materials will consist of model pay ratio disclosures, available in both a PDF and in Word.

  11. Since this is video webcast, what type of equipment and connection will I need?
  12. Here's what you'll need to watch the video:

    • You need approximately 600k of continuous incoming bandwidth in order to view a panel through a 500k link.
    • You will need one of the following two "players" to access the video webcast Windows Media Player or Flash Player (note that the RealPlayer won't work for the Conference). Click here to check whether you already have the Windows Media Player or click here to determine if you have the Flash Player, which also allows you to determine whether you have the proper connectivity or any potential firewall issues.
    • If you don't have one of the players, you need the free Windows Media Player (download here) or the free Flash Player (download here). Please note that after downloading the software, you must install it. Simply downloading the software will not allow access to the archive. Downloading and/or installing the software may require permission from your network administrator.
    • You need approximately 600k of continuous incoming bandwidth in order to view a panel through a 500k or 450k link. If that high level of bandwidth is not available for you, your player will either not open or continuously buffer (ie. freeze). If you experience this type of problem, it is highly recommended that you switch to a 100k link to watch the video.
    • If you are still unable to access the archive, contact your IT department.

  13. For how long will I have access to the video archives of the Workshop?
  14. You will have access to the video archives until December 31, 2015.

  15. What if I can't watch the Workshop because I am too busy that day?
  16. We will be archiving every single minute of the Workshop - so you can go back and watch the Conferences at any time until December 31, 2015.

  17. Will written transcripts of the panels from the Conferences be made available?
  18. No. However, a video archive of each panel will be available - something that is not available for most other conferences.

  19. Can I ask questions before, during or after the Workshop?
  20. Yes, you can post your questions on the Q&A Forums of TheCorporateCounsel.net or CompensationStandards.com at any time. In the alternative, you can e-mail questions to info@ccrcorp.com.
